Our goal is to provide professional help to our clients and our community in need. A therapy session is scheduled time reserved exclusively for you with your therapist. Without adequate notice, we are unable to serve you nor anyone else in our community. With that in mind, we have a very simple and strict cancellation and no-show policy for our clients.
A No-Show is when a client fails to notify the office and is absent for their scheduled appointment with their therapist.
A late cancellation is when a client cancels an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment.
If you are unable to attend an appointment, we request that you contact us as soon as you are aware and provide more than 24 hours advance notice to our office via email, voicemail or speaking with the front office staff.
You will be responsible for a $75.00 fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours or if you fail to attend your scheduled session without at least 24 hours advance notice.
The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 - 60 minutes. If you are less than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you may lose some of that session time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, the session may be cancelled and you will be responsible for the late cancellation fee.
You will be responsible for a $75.00 fee if there is Late Cancellation or No-Show for your initial intake appointment. You will be provided with one additional opportunity to schedule an intake appointment.
If you fail to attend two consecutive appointments without providing 24 hours notice you will be removed from recurring appointments. If you fail to attend three consecutive appointments with or without proper notice, you will not be rescheduled and you will be removed from treatment. The only exception to this policy is in the event of a serious or contagious illness or emergency. We offer telehealth / virtual sessions when it is not possible for in-person therapy.
HEALTH INSURANCE DOES NOT PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR CANCELLATION FEES.
